Kumari: The Living Goddess.  Location: Kumari House at the old Kathmandu city center.

•    Devotees in getting victory over the rivals and enemies;
•    Devotees in recovering from illness.

Devotees pledge to ‘bhakal’ of offering
•    Regular puja comprising holy water, flower, rice, amber or vermillion, and wicks soaked in oil.

Any day of a week is good for the deity.

The Living Goddess Kumari possesses the national sovereignty, and the goddess transfers it to the head of state every year during the Indra Jatra festival. She presides over all the festivals.
