The deity helps
•    Children in recovering from the physical disability;
•    Children in recovering from the mental disability;
•    In relieving children possessed by evil spirits.

Parents pledge to ‘bhakal’ of offering
•    Regular puja comprising holy water, flower, rice, amber or vermillion, and wicks soaked in oil;
•    Regular puja plus a duck egg;
•    Regular puja plus a meat dish and alcohol.

Saturday and Tuesday are the auspicious days for the deity.
