Devotees pledge to ‘bhakal’ of offering
- Regular puja comprising holy water, flower, rice, amber or vermillion, and wicks soaked in oil;
- Regular puja plus animal sacrifices;
- Regular puja plus ‘pancha vali’ means offerings of sacrifices of five different animals such as a rooster, a male duck, a male goat, a male sheep, and a male buffalo. ‘Pancha vali’ is the highest form of offerings devotees can make.
