Pashupati: the deity of great power, and the source of everything, and could meet any desire of devotees.  Location: Gaushala, Kathmandu

The deity
•    Meets the wishes of devotees;
•    Removes all obstacles devotees face;
•    Drives away evil spirits;
•    Makes the lives of devotees prosperous.

Devotees pledge to ‘bhakal’ of offering
•    ‘Rudri’ at the temple of the lord or at the homes of devotees;
•    Regular puja comprising holy water, flower, rice, amber or vermillion, and wicks soaked in oil;
•    Cow milk every Monday (pouring cow milk on the lingam).

The day of the deity is Monday but devotees go the temples of Lord Shiva on any day or time they like.
