• Devotees from other possible losses.

Devotees pledge to ‘bhakal’ of offering

• Regular puja comprising holy water, flower, rice, amber or vermillion, and wicks soaked in oil.
• Several thousands ‘jap’ means repeating the name of deity: Mahankal to get relief from misfortunes.
• Lightning wick lamps.

Any day of a week is good for the deity.
